Highways proposals safety reports by Transport Experts
With your generous donations we have commissioned three highways assessments costing over £10,000 to the local community.
We have to do this because the Council are not properly evidencing our concerns.
Each time there has been damning evidence against the developers unsafe proposals for additional cycling capacity.

Legal Action:
In January 2022, we commenced Judicial Review against St Albans District Council under the Aarhus Convention.
In May 2022, the High Court granted hearing of our case.

CLASH Skeleton Argument Lodged with the High Court
July 26th 2022, is our High Court date. Exactly a year after St Albans District Council Planning Officer and Planning Committee approved the application against the Secretary of State ruling in 2015 and with no justification for the “very special circumstances” needed to over turn protected green belt status.
